Embassy Suites Hotel at Chevy Chase Pavilion Hotel ReservationsYou are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. EST is holding a block of sleeping rooms at the Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion, Washington, DC for the nights January 13 - January 14, 2009, at the prevailing government rate, $209.00. To make your reservation at the Embassy Suites, please call 888-324-2728 and inform the reservation agent that you are with the Office of Family Planning Meeting. If you have any difficulties with specific accommodations, please contact Sarah Morrill at 301-588-6046. You will be asked for a credit card when making your reservations to guarantee your room.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is Noon. ParkingIndoor self-parking is available at the Embassy Suites at a cost of $24.00 per vehicle, per night and $24.00 for meeting attendees, per day. Travel ArrangementsYou are responsible for making your own travel arrangements. We strongly urge you to make your arrangements early to obtain the lowest possible air fare. Ground Transportation & Airport InformationEmbassy Suites guests have numerous options for travel to and from the DC region. The hotel is located just five miles from the Capital Beltway, which connects to U.S. 95. The hotel is also only nine miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, accessible by Metro. Two additional airports support travel to the region: Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Dulles International Airport, located in Maryland and Virginia respectively. If you travel by rail, you will arrive into downtown Union Station. From there, you can travel by taxi or Metro to the hotel. The greater Washington, DC metropolitan area is serviced by three airports:
Taxi and Van ServicesTaxi cab service is available at or near the baggage claim areas at all three airports. SuperShuttle: 1-800-BLUE-VAN (800-258-3826) is available at all airports at the baggage claim levels. No reservations are required. Reservations are required for pick-up at the hotel for a return trip to the airport. Advanced reservations (at least 48 hours) are required for accessible vehicles. Public Transportation/MetrorailThe Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion isn't just located near the Washington DC metro system - the hotel is literally on top of the Friendship Heights Metro station, one of the popular stations along the system's red line.
