Meeting and Travel Information SheetEnterprise Services & Technologies, Inc. Embassy Suites Hotel at Chevy Chase Pavilion Hotel AccommodationsAfter your meeting registration is completed and received by EST, we will make a room reservation for you. All reservations will be for the nights of Sunday, July 19th through Tuesday, July 21st. If you need a room for Wednesday night due to flight arrangements, you must let EST know. EST will pre-pay for your sleeping room. EST will send you an email with the confirmation number no later than July 10th. Please do not call the hotel to make or change the reservation.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is Noon. Travel ArrangementsEST is responsible for payment of your travel including reimbursement of your ground transportation. Please contact EST's travel agency to make your travel arrangements. The ticket will be charged to EST's credit card. Our agency, World Travel, Inc. is available to assist you in finding the most economical air or rail ticket possible. When contacting World Travel, please ask to speak with our primary agent, Joanne Vogel or anyone from Team B. (Please be sure to identify yourself as a consultant for EST on the Office of Family Planning (OFP) TA contract.) Ms. Vogel can be reached at 800-874-6700 extension 6078 or 610-695-6078. Once you have confirmed your reservations and ticketing is complete, you will receive an e-mail with your travel itinerary. ParkingIndoor self-parking is available at the Embassy Suites at a cost of $24.00 per vehicle, per night and $24.00 for meeting attendees, per day. Ground Transportation & Airport InformationEmbassy Suites guests have numerous options for travel to and from the DC region. The hotel is located just five miles from the Capital Beltway, which connects to U.S. 95. The hotel is also only nine miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, accessible by Metro. Two additional airports support travel to the region: Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Dulles International Airport, located in Maryland and Virginia respectively. If you travel by rail, you will arrive into downtown Union Station. From there, you can travel by taxi or Metro to the hotel. The greater Washington, DC metropolitan area is serviced by three airports:
Taxi and Van ServicesTaxi cab service is available at or near the baggage claim areas at all three airports. SuperShuttle: 1-800-BLUE-VAN (800-258-3826) is available at all airports at the baggage claim levels. No reservations are required. Reservations are required for pick-up at the hotel for a return trip to the airport. Advanced reservations (at least 48 hours) are required for accessible vehicles. Public Transportation/MetrorailThe Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion isn't just located near the Washington DC metro system - the hotel is literally on top of the Friendship Heights Metro station, one of the popular stations along the system's red line.
