Hotel & Travel InformationEnterprise Services & Technologies, Inc., (EST) is working with the FTCC Planning Committee to provide logistical support for the 2010 Federal Training Centers Collaboration Meeting. FTCC Meeting LocationInterContinental - Kansas City at the Plaza Hotel ReservationsYou are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. EST is holding a block of sleeping rooms at the InterContinental in Kansas City, Missouri for the nights of July 13 - 16, 2010, at the prevailing government rate (which at time of posting is $107) plus taxes. To make your reservation at the InterContinental, please call 1-866-856-9717 and ask for the "FTCC Meeting" room block. Please be sure to inform the reservation agent of any accommodations you will need. If you need assistance with specific accommodations, please contact Enterprise Services & Technologies, Inc. at 301-588-6046. Please be aware that you are responsible for all charges during your stay at the InterContinental. You will be asked for a credit card when making your reservations to guarantee your room. The last day to make your reservations for a hotel room is Monday, June 28, 2010. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m., late check-out is available. Please plan your travel accordingly. Shipping Instructions To the HotelMaterials may be shipped two days before the event.

Failure to provide method of payment will delay the shipping process. Travel ArrangementsYou are responsible for making your own travel arrangements. We strongly urge you to make your flight arrangements early to obtain the lowest possible air fare. The greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area is serviced by the Kansas City International Airport (MCI). The Kansas City International Airport is 30 miles from the InterContinental - Kansas City at the Plaza, approximately 20-30 minutes via taxi. Ground TransportationTaxi cab service is available. Phones for taxi service are located both inside and outside the terminal at each bag claim area and at other strategic locations outside the terminal exits. Make sure that you give the dispatcher your exact location. Fares may be pro-rated (shared) when the originating passenger requests it and all other passengers agree. If no cabs are available, please contact any airport police officer or dial 5215 on any white courtesy phone. Rates are $2.50 plus $2.10 per mile. Rates may vary due to traffic delays and waiting time. Shuttle service is available at or near the baggage claim area. We look forward to seeing you in Kansas City! |
